Terms of service
Last updated: 26/10/2026
This is a translation of the Italian text, which prevails in case of doubt.
1. The service
Visicatch is provided by Visicatch, Italia (contact: info@visicatch.com). It is an app for Android phones that films team sports matches with two phones, chooses the shot automatically, burns the scoreboard into the video, records stats and allows live streaming on the platforms chosen by the user. During betas some features may change or be incomplete.
2. Account
The account is personal, is needed to use the phone as director and requires being at least 14 years old (the date of birth is declared when creating it and must be true). Phones that act only as camera or stats connect without an account. Subscriptions and purchases are for adults only; minors need the authorisation of those with parental responsibility. The data provided must be true. Account holders keep their credentials safe and are responsible for how they are used; unauthorised access must be reported immediately to info@visicatch.com.
3. Permitted use
Whoever films is responsible for having the right to film and to broadcast. In particular they must: inform the people in the shot and collect the necessary consents, with care for minors; respect the agreements with the host club, the venue and the league; respect third parties' broadcasting rights. Visicatch provides the tool, not the authorisation.
Visicatch does not check and is not responsible for the consents of the people filmed, for the authorisations of the club, venue or league, or for broadcasting rights: obtaining them is solely the task of whoever films or broadcasts. The user holds Visicatch harmless from third-party claims (people filmed, parents, clubs, rights holders) arising from filming, live streams or videos published without the necessary authorisations.
Live streaming platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and others) have their own rules and requirements, for example a minimum number of followers, a minimum age or enabling live streams on the channel: meeting them is up to the user, and Visicatch is not liable if a platform refuses, limits or removes a live stream or a video.
It is forbidden to: film secretly; broadcast events without the rights to do so; use the service to monitor or identify people; upload unlawful content; circumvent the service's protections or use it for purposes other than those intended.
Connected platforms. By using the app's YouTube features (live streams, scheduled matches, video upload) the user accepts the YouTube Terms of Service; for Twitch and Facebook the Twitch terms and the Facebook terms apply. By uploading a video the user confirms they respect the platform's rules, including the YouTube Community Guidelines. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC, Twitch of Twitch Interactive, Inc., Facebook of Meta Platforms, Inc.; Visicatch is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
4. Content
Videos, rosters and stats belong to whoever creates them. The user grants Visicatch only the licence needed to run the service: storing, processing, transferring and showing the content to the people and platforms the user chooses. Videos are not used to train Visicatch's models without separate, explicit consent.
5. Plans, payments and cancellation
The Base plan is free. Paid plans, when available, are purchased inside the app through Google Play: renewal, cancellation and refunds follow Google Play's rules and are managed from the Google account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
After a subscription with cloud archive ends, matches remain downloadable for 60 days; after that they are deleted from the cloud. Files on the phone are not affected.
Consumers keep all the rights provided by the applicable consumer law, including the right of withdrawal where it applies.
6. Availability
Visicatch works to keep the service available but does not guarantee absolute continuity: there may be maintenance and interruptions. Filming and recording happen on the phone and keep working even when Visicatch's servers cannot be reached; live streaming and the cloud archive require a connection.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is, in particular during the beta. Visicatch is not liable for losses due to phone failures, full storage, network or live streaming platform outages, or for the user's use of the content. These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and do not reduce the rights the law grants to consumers.
8. Suspension
In case of breach of these terms, in particular of point 3, Visicatch may suspend or close the account, giving notice when possible.
9. Changes
Substantial changes are communicated in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Those who do not accept them can close the account before that date.
10. Governing law
Italian law applies. For consumers, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile.
